For editors and institutions writing about ARTIFACT Futures: how to describe us, who we are, and pictures that may be used with their captions. For anything else, write to us.
- The name
- ARTIFACT Futures, with ARTIFACT in capitals; never shortened.
- In a sentence
- ARTIFACT Futures brings thinkers, artists and builders to the same table. Each year it pursues one question about how technology is reshaping what it means to be human, through a printed Journal, gatherings in London, San Francisco, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi, and early support for founders.
- In a paragraph
- ARTIFACT Futures grew out of VAC, a non-profit art foundation and collection established in New York and built in Hanoi since 2023 into one of the most active cultural institutions in Vietnam. It publishes the ARTIFACT Journal, launched at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale; convenes founders, researchers, artists and institutions in London, San Francisco, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi around one annual Inquiry; and backs early-stage founders working on human memory, creativity and cognition. Its 2026 Inquiry, The Future Is Behind Us, opened at the British Library during London Tech Week and closes in Abu Dhabi in December.
