ARTIFACT Journal Launches at the Venice Architecture Biennale

We are honored to announce the launch of ARTIFACT Journal, a biannual publication encompassing art, culture, design, architecture, literature, photography, film, music, fashion, and other forms of contemporary expressions brought forth by artists, writers, photographers, and creatives of Vietnamese origin. As an integral part of the ARTIFACT initiative, this publication aligns with our ongoing mission to elevate the visibility of Vietnamese art and culture on a global stage, facilitate interdisciplinary dialogues and conversations across borders, and preserve the intangible heritage and oral histories of our time for future generations. Published in both Vietnamese and English, ARTIFACT Journal will be distributed to partner organizations, cultural institutions, and relevant platforms to engage diverse audiences worldwide.

The inaugural issue will center around the theme of collectivity and alternative forms of knowledge specific to the Vietnamese context. It will be released on May 7th at the 19th Venice Biennale of Architecture, alongside the architect Trung Mai‘s The Reincarnated Grid as part of the exhibition Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective, curated by Carlo Ratti.
